A private equity owned international engineering, procurement, and construction company in the petroleum refining industry with $400 million of revenue.

• Assumed financial leadership during a liquidity crisis with the primary responsibility, on an expedited basis, to (i) evaluate the quality and accuracy of financial reporting, (ii) advised on the additional capital required to sustain the business, and (iii) address the loan defaults.

• Preformed a detail financial and operational review of 10 major construction projects, which included evaluating the estimates used to determine the percentage-of-completion, and consequently the appropriateness of revenue recognition. 

• Prepared short and long-term financial and cash flow projections to determine the required capital needs, which resulted in a significant capital infusion.
