John has more than 3 decades of professional experience, including more than 20 years of corporate restructuring and interim management experience. He specializes in developing, implementing, and guiding companies through business restructuring & turnarounds, and providing interim management services as a Chief Financial Officer.  A confident leader who strives for excellence, John’s hands-on approach and depth of experience allow him to quickly earn the confidence of management teams, board of directors, and all constituents involved in his engagements.

 

Previously, John specialized in corporate restructuring at Zolfo Cooper’s Corporate Advisory and Restructuring Group. During his career at Zolfo Cooper, John was an integral part of multiple high-profile restructuring assignments, including LandAmerica Financial Group, The Industrial Company (TIC), Collins & Aikman, and NRG Energy, Inc.; all multi-billion-dollar revenue enterprises in various stages of financial distress.

 

Prior to joining Zolfo Cooper, John served in senior management positions including Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for various middle market public companies. 

 

John is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor.
